Ah, at last Friday has come. This is the day we have been waiting for since Sunday night. I'm glad that I finally have a "9 to 5" (7:30 - 4:30 technically) job. All of my previous jobs had been "odd hour" jobs. In the past I have worked as a Lifeguard (in numerous places), merchandising at Best Buy, sales associate at Sears Hardware, and worked in a call center. While working those jobs, I really never had a real weekend. It was rare that I actually got two days off in a row. Now, with a regular job, I know that I will have Saturday and Sunday off. Very nice.
To continue my VS theme from yesterday, here is one more:
Star Wars VS Star Trek-
No contest here, Star Wars is all about military power. Star Trek likes to explore. The Enterprise vs an Emperial Star Destroyer, thats a joke. Don't get me wrong, I like Picard and Kirk, but they just don't have the Force.

I realize that most people blog about current events or other "meaningful" things. Well current events piss me off. I don't want to think about 20k+ more Marines and Soldiers (and Navy and Air Force too) getting sent over to Iraq. I've been there. It sucks. There has been fighting over there for hundreds of years. Why the hell do we think we can go over there and resolve it in a matter of 2-5 years? Its NOT going to happen. Ok, thats it for now.

Enterprise has shields man, fucking shields. Star destroyer just has mass and guns. And can be taken out by one missle fired in its hole.
Not to mention, WARP SPEED CAPTAIN!
Anyways I like the Starwars world much more the Trek. Only watched some Star Trek: Next gen. Otherwise that was it. So actually I will just trust you as I dont know if the star detroyer has any shields or not.
The Star Destroyer totally has shields. It was the damn Death Star that was taken out with one shot. Damn Bothan spies.
LOL... As much as I hate to say it. I used to watch Star Trek all the time. It was a secret of course. My cousin and I would not be able to go to bed until midnight because it came on at 11. That was next generation, and I know everyone likes Captain Kirk, but Picard totally kicks ass!
I must say though... no one and I mean no one... can beat the awesome being that is "Master Yoda"
